Applicable to PACCAR MX Engine model years 2017, 2018, and 2019. Must not exceed 7 years or 700,000 (1,120,000 kilometers) from in-service date. Coverage expires by time/miles, whichever occurs first. There is no engine hour limit. Claim limits apply. See terms and conditions upon applying. Application by 11/15/2024 required. PACCAR retains the right to revise the terms and conditions of this extended service program at its own discretion.
What is Prognostics?
Powertrain Prognostics provides proactive repair guidance for MX Engines to minimize unplanned downtime and maximize operational uptime.

- Camshaft
- Camshaft Follower
- Connecting Rods, Caps and Bolts
- Crankshaft
- Cylinder Block Casting, Main Bearing Caps and Bolts
- Cylinder Head Casting and Bolts
- Flywheel Housing
- Gears – All (Camshaft, Crankshaft, Idlers, and Oil Pump)
- Coolant Thermostat Housing
- Water Pump Housing
WHAT’S NOT COVERED:
- You are responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the Engine and Emissions equipment as specified in the applicable Operator’s Manuals. You are responsible for providing proof that all recommended inspections and maintenance have been performed. Before the expiration of the applicable service agreement, you must notify an Authorized Dealer of any covered failures and make the Engine available for Engine repair by such Authorized Dealer. You are responsible for delivery of the Engine to the Authorized Dealer. Locations in the United States and Canada of authorized PACCAR Engine dealers may be found on WWW.PACCARENGINES.COM.
- PACCAR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WEAR AND TEAR OR WEAROUT OF COVERED PARTS, storage deterioration, and changes in adjustment resulting from your use of the Engine.
- Damage due to accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, negligence, improper or insufficient maintenance, or unauthorized modification is not covered. This may include, but is not limited to: operation without adequate coolants, lubricants, or other fluids; over-fueling; over-speeding; lack of maintenance of the lubricating, cooling or air intake systems; improper storage, starting, warm-up, run-in or shutdown practices; and unauthorized modifications to the Engine.
- Repairs performed prior to program publication date are not eligible for reimbursement under this program. Equipment and specifications are subject to change without notice. Customers that already purchased 7yr/700,000 MI major component coverage will not be reimbursed. See your PACCAR Powertrain authorized dealer for details.
